Warrior wearing lorica and crested helmet on horseback charging right, shield across back, spear in right hand; AΠOΛ/ΛΩNIOΣ below, ΔI behind / TAPAΣ, Taras astride dolphin left, head facing, trident in right hand over shoulder, chlamys over left arm and flying behind; Nike above flying right (to left) crowning him, waves below. HN Italy 1038. Vlasto 894-898. Gorgeous toning on a stunningly lustrous flan.
