PAEONIAN KINGDOM. Lycceius (ca. 359/6-335 BC). AR tetradrachm (23mm, 12.75 gm, 7h). NGC AU 5/5 - 2/5, light smoothing. Laureate head of Zeus right; dotted border / ΛΙΚΚΕ-IΟΥ, nude Heracles crouched left, left arm wrapped around the neck of the Nemean lion, brandishing club in right hand; bow and quiver below right. SNG ANS 1019. Boldly struck from fresh, high-relief dies. Beautifully toned with apricot hues throughout.
