Christ seated facing on backless throne, wearing nimbus cruciger with one pellet in each arm, pallium, and colobium, right hand raised in benediction, book of Gospels in left; IC-XC (barred) across fields, double border / Iw / ΔЄC/ΠO/Tw/Π-ΦV/PO/ΓЄ/NH (ligate)/T, The Virgin (on right), nimbate, standing facing, wearing pallium and maphorium, crowning with right hand John III (on left), standing facing, wearing crown with pendilia, divitision, and loros, labarum in right hand, akakia in left; MHP (ligate) above.
