France 28.6.1945 P-103c PMG Choice UNC 64 5000 Francs
An iconic design, representing France and its colonies, is seen on this large format note dating back to just after World War II. A choice uncirculated example with fresh paper, good color and nice eye-appeal is seen. While this type was introduced in 1942 and was issued until 1947 with a fairly large number of dates, any date prior to September 1945 can be considered scarce and perhaps a bit underrated, as print runs drastically went up after that month.
