France 4.7.1957 P-136b PMG Choice UNC 64 10,000 Francs
An iconic French design, seen here in its original iteration with the denomination in old Francs. Much scarcer than the revalued issues, this example has a slightly better date as well and comes with good eye-appeal for the assigned grade. As is often the case on French banknotes pinholes are seen, which have been closed, and are only revealed upon close inspection. Only a single example grades finer in the PMG populatin report. PMG mentions "Closed pinholes".
