Head of Juno Sospita right, wearing goat skin headdress tied at neck / She-wolf standing right, placing stick on fire; on right, eagle standing left, fanning the flames; CELSVS•III•VIR above, L•PAPIVS in exergue. CRI 82. Crawford 472/1. Sydenham 964. RSC Papia 2. RBW 1647. Very Fine; perfectly centered on a full flan, with entire design clear; fresh metal, attractively toned with blue iridescence; two bankers' marks on obverse; very good style. Fine example of this fascinating issue.
