Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. AR denarius. 2.99 gm. 18 mm. Rome mint. Struck circa A.D. 130. His laureate bust right, fold of cloak on front shoulder; HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P / Galley sailing left with steersman and four oarsmen; at prow, small sail at slanted mast; acrostolium at stern; FELICITATI AVGVSTI. RIC II.3 1400 (RIC II 240). RSC 712a. Good Very Fine; pleasing lightly iridescent tone; a few light scratches/marks in fields; well centered and struck on a full flan.
