His laureate head right; HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P / Italia standing left, holding scepter and cornucopia; ITALIA. RIC II.3 3131 var. (obv. legend; cf. RIC II.3 1540 for same issue from Rome mint). RSC 867. Near Extremely Fine; beautifully toned and well centered. Rare, and of special interest as an Eastern issue.
