A Pair of Persian Coins (2) Achaemenid Persia, Time of Darius I or Xerxes II (485-420 BC) AR siglos, Sardis Mint, Persian king or hero kneeling with bow, rev. irregular incuse (SNG Kayhan, 1030) obverse flattened with some unfortunate environmental damage, nevertheless good to fine Sassanid Persia, Khusrou I (AD531-579) AR drachm, Stakhr Mint, AD555/6, crowned bust right, surrounded by stars and crescent moons, rev. fire altar with ribbons surrounded by two priests, 3h, (SC Tehran 855), slightly crimped at edge, otherwise fine to very fine, lightly toned(2).
