Roman Republic, P. Plautius Hypsaeus (60 BC), AR Denarius, 4.00g, draped bust of Leuconoe right, dolphin behind, p. ypsae. s. c. before, rev. Jupiter in quadriga left, holding reins and thunderbolt (RSC Plautia 12; Sydenham 911; RRC 420/2a), lustrous with attractive light irridescent tone, good very fine.
