F., AR Denarius, c.57BC, FLORA PRIMVS, Head of Flora right, wearing wreath of flowers. lituus to left, rev. two warriors facing each other, each holding sword and shield, C F SERVIL in exergue, C F upwards to right 7h, 3.86g, (Crawford, 423/1) nicely lustrous, light toning, crisp and attractive strike, slightly off-centre on reverse but otherwise really very fine.
