Roman Empire, Augustus (27BC-AD14) AR Denarius, c.18BC, [CAESARI] AVGVSTO, laureate head right, rev. slow quadringa right, panels ornamented, containing aquila, surmounted by four galloping horses, SPQR in exergue, 6h, (RIC 108a; AMC, 90), struck in high relief, left side of obverse legend clipped but nonetheless an attractive example with pleasing toning, very fine to bolder very fine.
