Group of 19th Century plate engravings related to Iran and the Near East. All matted and framed. In matching 10 ½ x 8" wide bordered wood frames: "Hamadan & the Ruins of the Castle of Darius", "Ruins of Sus, from N.E. Side", "The Island of Nearchus, near the entrance of the Persian Gulf", and "Vue interieure d'un Caravanserai de ville". The latter colored; and "European and Asiatic Races", 9 ½ x 12" framed; and "Theresa, the Maid of Athens", published 1832, 9 x 11" framed; also 5 small "Persian Miniatures on bone"-style pieces (composite material "canvases") framed.
