The present coin's obverse has the same distinctive motive as Klein 28.2 and Zurich denars of the early 11th century (Klein. U., "Ein schwäbisch-alemannischer Münzschatz aus der Zeit um 1050 : die Basler und Zürcher Münzprägung in der ersten Hälfte des 11. Jahrhunderts", 2001 ). Interesting coin worth further research.
