MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Hemihekte – Twelfth Stater (8mm, 1.21 g). Contemporary imitation. Satyr kneeling left, holding in his extended right hand a tunny fish by the tail / Quadripartite incuse square. For prototype: cf. Von Fritze I 122 (unlisted denomination); cf. Boston MFA 1461 (stater); cf. Traité II 2702. Earthen deposits, double struck. Good VF.
