SASANIAN KINGS. Šābuhr (Shahpur) II. AD 309-379. AR Drachm (27mm, 4.14 g, 3h). Mint VIII ("Herat"). Struck circa AD 320-379. Crowned bust right / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by attendants; bust right in flames; traces of blundered l'st in Pahlavi on altar shaft. SNS type Ib1/3a and pl. 8, A22; MK 1307. Iridescent toning, hairlines, areas of weakness. Good VF.
