(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereigns, 1856, Type IA (2), second larger young head, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.95g, 6h; another, similar, 7.94g, 6h (MCE 517; Marsh 39; Spink 3852D), both lightly contact marked and wiped to the obverse, yet the first with a pleasing lustre, very fine to good very fine (2).
