(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1865 [Die 19], Type IB, second larger young head, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.95g, 6h (MCE 526; Marsh 50; Spink 3853), rub to hair and lighty contact marked, yet with a hint of residual lustre, very fine.
