(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1869 [Die 17], doubled legends on obverse, second larger young head, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.96g, 7h (Marsh 53; Bentley 196; MCE 529; Spink 3853), lustrous and quite frosty, a pleasingly good very fine / extremely fine.
