(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign [Die 25], 1872, (2), second larger young head, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 6h, 7.93g; 7.98g (Marsh 56; Spink 3853B), first has some discolouration on reverse, however still attractive and bright, the second is cleaned, otherwise lustrous, very fine to good very fine (2).
