Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1866, second young head left, plain truncation, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D:, rev. denomination ONE SHILLING in two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, date below, die no.43, edge milled (ESC 3027; S.3905). A well struck example with attractive toning revealing strong residual mint lustre, particularly around the peripheries, some light surface marks, graded by NGC as MS65.
