Edward VII (1901-10), silver Shilling, 1906, bare head right, initials DeS below truncation for engraver George William De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII DEI: GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX, rev. lion standing left on crown, date either side, linear circle around with Latin legend in upper half, FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, denomination ONE SHILLING in lower half, edge milled (Bull 3592; ESC 1415; S.3982). An appealing example with some toning in the peripheries, light surface marks, graded by NGC as MS63.

The Latin legend translates as "Edward the Seventh by the Grace of God, King of the Britons", continuing on the reverse as "Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India".
