Pallas hurls thunderbolt at two-headed monster, Latin inscription above round, VICEM GERIT. ILLA. TONANTIS., in exergue, INAVGVRAT XXIII AP MDCCII, 34mm (Eimer 390; MI ii 228/4). Toned, graded by NGC as AU55.

NGC Certification 6380583-001.

This is the official Royal Mint issue from a mintage of only 1200 in silver.

The obverse Latin legend translates as "Anne by the Grace of God, Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland," and the inscriptions on the reverse as "She is in the place of the Thunderer," and "Coronated on the Twenty-Fourth Day of April, Seventeen Hundred and Two."
