Richard II (1377-99), silver Halfpenny, London Mint, intermediate style, facing crowned bust within beaded circle, legend surrounding, +RICARD'x REX x AnGL, rev. long cross pattée, trio of pellets in each inner angle, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, CIVI TAS LOn DOn, 0.48g (N.1331b; S.1699). Toned fully round, just a little weak in small details in striking, about very fine.
The Latin legends translate as "Richard, King of the English" on the obverse, and on the reverse "The City of London."
