Ireland, Henry VIII (1509-47), silver of 0.758 fineness, Groat, second harp issue (1540-42) with Dominus title, long cross fourchée over crowned quartered shield of arms, linear and beaded circles and legend surrounding, initial mark trefoil both sides, rev. crowned harp, crowned h to left, crowned R to right, beaded circles and legend surrounding, 1.50g (DF 204; S.6479). Toned, with steel grey colour, some corrosion and porosity, ragged rim with some metal loss, mint mark not really visible but presumed to be trefoil as seems too small to be a crown to be first issue, good fine to almost very fine.
