George IV (1820-30), silver Sixpence, 1825, first laureate head left, B.P. below neck for Benedetto Pistrucci, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F:D:, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms with an escutcheon of the Arms of Hanover, garter motto surrounding, HONI. SOIT. QUI. MAL. Y. PENSE., date ANNO 1825 below, edge milled (Bull 2427; ESC 1659; S.3814). Toned with traces of subdued lustre around the peripheries, light surface marks, graded by NGC as MS65.

The Latin legend translates as "George the Fourth by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith", and the Old French motto on the reverse as "Shame on he who thinks ill of it".
