Britannia seated right with trident and shield, emblems in exergue, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIAR: REX FID: DEF:, edge plain (Peck 1422; S.3823). A highly appealing example with good residual mint lustre in fields, some blotchy marks on right of reverse trident, graded by PCGS as MS64 BN.

The Latin legends translate as on obverse "George the Fourth by the Grace of God," and on the reverse "King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
