The obverse die used to strike this coin was originally prepared for dinars of Naysabur dated AH 352. Presumably, the die was still in good condition at the end of this year, and rather than wasting a perfectly usable die the mint and date were then re-engraved and the die employed three years later to strike dinars at Bukhara in the year AH 355.
