2. Thessaly, Pelinna Æ 17mm. Late 4th-3rd century BC. Warrior on horseback riding to left / Mantho seated to right, holding box of prophecies; ΠEΛINN-AIΩN to left and right. Rogers 430; BCD Thessaly II 532-3; HGC 4, 278. 1.73g, 17mm, 6h.

3. Thessaly, Pharsalos Æ 23mm. Early 2nd century BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos facing, turned slightly to right / Armoured Thessalian warrior on horse rearing to right, brandishing flail; [ΦAPΣA] around. Lavva 267 (V149/R185); cf. BCD Thessaly II 671; HGC 4, 651. 9.86g, 23mm, 2h.
