RÖMISCHE BLEISIEGEL.
Constantius II. & Constantius Gallus Caesar. Konische Bleiplombe ø 21mm (3,14g). ca. 351 - 354 n. Chr. DD NN. Zwei gegenüberstehende drapierte Panzerbüsten, die linke mit Perlendiadem (daher Constantius II. als Augustus), die rechte ohne Diadem (daher Constantius Gallus als Caesar).
Grünbraune Patina, fast vz
Ex Sammlung Prof. Dr. Wolfram Weiser; ex Münzzentrum Rheinland Auktion 151, 2009, Los 875.
Vgl. die sehr ähnlich gestaltete silberne Siegelringplatte, ebenfalls mit DD - NN, beide Büsten mit Perlendiadem (daher Constans und Constantius II., 340/350 zugewiesen) und oben mit Victoria von vorn, beide Büsten bekränzend: Gorny & Mosch 168, 2008, Los 156.
