Algeria - Bank of Algeria 20 Francs 1928 issue Pick 78b around Fine, the note has been signed by many World War II heroes, in particular Brigadier Manley Angell James who earned a VC for his heroic deeds in Velu Wood, France in 1918 (signed as M.A. James on the top right of the note.) His signature can be found at vconline.org.uk and his medal are on display at the Imperial War Museum
