Boer War and First World War group of six, awarded to 6622 Pte William Hastings, Rifle Brigade, comprising Queen's South Africa with two clasps Transvaal and Orange Free State, King's South Africa with two clasps, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902, with World War I trio, War Medal, Victory Medal (to S1SR-1128 W.Hastings A.S.C.) and 1914 European War Medal 1914-1919 PAX VICTORIS type, along with Waterloo Rifle Brigade cap badge, Dispersal Certificate, Parchment Certificate, Protection Certificate and Certificate of Identity, Certificate of Furlough, VF to EF. Pte. Hastings transferred to the Army Reserve in 1907 and re-enlisted in 1914 serving mainly as an instructor in the Hampshire Regiment.
