HGC-9, 10g; Pr-3353; SC-C94.7A. In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left; anchor and monogram to left. A beautiful Tetradrachm from early in Seleukos I's reign, displaying a strong portrait of Herakles in high relief and a sharply detailed reverse that features the iconic Seleukid anchor. The lightly toned surfaces exhibit only light circulation.
