Medieval, Anglo-Saxon, A bronze cruciform brooch, 6th century, with integral top and side semicircular knobs with moulded collars, head plate with short wings and punch rivet-like decoration, high arched bow with line pattern (worn at high point) and faceted corners, catch plate with horizontal line pattern and faceted sides, zoomorphic foot, 10cm by 4.5cm (Ashmolean 12.9).
