4 x English Hammered, to include: 3 x Elizabeth I: shilling [1582-4], sixth issue, mm A, obv. crowned bust left, plain field, rev. long cross fourchée divides shield of arms, (S.2577), bust weak, scratches to obv. right field, otherwise full round flan with clear legends, better reverse, VG; and 2 x shillings, both third and fourth issues: 1571 mm castle obv. intermediate bust 4B, rose to right field, re. long cross fourchée divides shield of arms, (S.2562), flan full but bent, VG; and 1574 mm acorn, obv. larger bust 5A, rose to right field, rev. as before, (S.2563), deposit to legend at 10 o'clock, rough edges, otherwise near Fine; and James I shilling [1603-4], first coinage, mm thistle, obv. crowned second bust right, denomination XII to left field, rev. shield of arms, (S.1646), full round flan, bust weak with better rev., VG; together with a Charles II groat [undated] obv. crowned bust left, denomination IIII to right field, rev. shield of arms divides by cross fourchée, (S.3383), near Fine
