Arab-Sasanian: Abd al-Rahman b. Muhammad. AH 80-84 / AD 700-703. AR Drachm, SK (Sistan) mint. Dated AH 80, Obverse: Bearded bust of king right, wearing winged crown, Pahlavi legend at left and right. Arabic legend in outer margin: rabbi and bismillah. Reverse: Fire altar with facing attendants, star and crescent flanking the altar flames. Mint to right & Date to left. (4.10gm, 31mm) Good Very Fine & RARE.
