Important early, embroidered mantel Star of complex work, 205x167 mm, made with gold and silver threads and wire of different types, sequines, pressed sheet-silver and silk, the cross on top of the upper crown, missing, the reverse, with original paper backing, reinforced withtissu-non-tissefabric. An imposing piece of great rarity and appearance, dating to the creation of the Order in 1818, very fine condition. I- RR!
