Jewelled Breast Star of the Order (Type awarded between 1942 and 1975) with green enameled Silver rays, 79x77 mm, large centre medallion in patinated silver with the scene of a female peasant working in the field, within an upper element set with brilliant, surmounted by the crown, set with red and green precious stones, below, a white enameled scroll with the motto "MERITO AGRICOLA", the whole surrounded by the allegory of the zodiac in chiseled gold, below,the Spanish coat-of-arms in polychrome enamels, bordered with brilliants, reverse in gold with ornamented, vertical broad pin and two hooks. With 81 diamonds for a total of 0.72 ct.A magnificent star of the type awarded for outstanding merits, especially to foreign dignitaries, pristine condition. I RR!
