The Imperial Order of Franz Joseph, 1849
Knight`s Cross, instituted in 1849. Breast Badge, 55x31 mm, GOLD, enameled, maker`s mark "Gebr. Resch, Vienna" and gold marks, hinged reverse centre medallion, typical, "tall" crown of the early decorations, suspension ring, original red ribbon with the "Kleindekoration" of the Grand Cross with swords of a lower grade in silver, gilt and patinated silver and enamels, this a very early, production of Rothe. A beautiful piece, extremely fine condition, very rare! I RR!
