Polychrome rectangular icon on panel, Orthodox iconography, scenes from the life of Jesus in twelve paintings surrounding a central cartouche "the glory of Christ", among which one can easily identify: the annunciation, the motherhood of the virgin, the presentation in the temple, the miracles (Lazarus, the Paralythic ...), the entry into Jerusalem, the trial of Pilate, the entombment... Borders enhanced by a large frieze in crosses and notes in cartridges. Beautiful composition, testimony of popular piety. Ancient Greek work from the beginning of the 19th century. Good condition.
