Constantius II, as Caesar, 324-337. Siliqua (Silver, 19 mm, 3.00 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis, circa 333. Plain-diademed head of Constantius II to right. Rev. CONSTAN-TIVS CAES / •CONSS• Victory advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. Ramskold, Silver emissions (2018), p. 177, fig. 11M (this coin, emission 4). RIC -. RSC -. Extremely rare, apparently the third known example. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die and with very minor roughness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
