Constantine I, 307/310-337. Light Miliarense (Silver, 23 mm, 3.79 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis, 334-335. CONSTANTI-NVS MAX AVG Laurel-and-rosette-diademed and draped bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. VIRTVS EXERCITVS / CONSIA Soldier standing front in military attire, head to right, holding inverted spear in his right hand and placing his left on shield set on the ground. Ramskold, Silver emissions (2018), p. 180, fig. 12G (this coin, emission 6). RIC 131. RSC 700†d. Of the highest rarity, one of only two known examples from this officina in private hands. Attractively toned. Somewhat porous and with a thin flan crack, otherwise, about extremely fine.

Bruun in RIC listed three examples of this type in public collections, but at least two of these are in fact misread examples of RIC 58.
