LOWER DANUBE. Imitations of Thasos. Late 2nd-1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 37 mm, 16.06 g, 12 h). Celticized head of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit. Rev. Celticized Herakles standing front, head to right, holding club in his right hand and lion skin in his left; legend degraded to dots. OTA Class V. Minor marks and struck from a worn obverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
