GAUL. Massalia. Circa 150-125 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.72 g, 6 h). Laureate head of Artemis to right, wearing pendant earring and pearl necklace and with bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. MAΣΣA/ΛIHTΩN Lion walking right; to right, Α. Depeyrot, Marseille, 36.1. Maurel 550. Beautifully toned and well centered. Some scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
