REX ?NGL Z FR?NC DNS HYB. Rev, lombardic h at centre of ornamental cross with lis terminals, crowns over lions in angles, pellet in first quarter, quatrefoil by head of lion in second quarter of reverse, fleurs in spandrels, initial mark pierced cross, legend surrounds +IHC AVTEM TRANSIENS PER MEDIV ILLORV IBAT, 6.96g (S.1744; N.1373; Schneider 249; Brooke class E, VIIb/VII). Toned with a fully centred strike, consistently well detailed in all aspects, no areas showing any particular weakness. Rev, struck with lustrous surfaces, pleasing. Extremely fine, a well balanced coin with a distinguished pedigree.
