REX ?NGL, lis over quartered coat of arms in tressure of eight arcs, trefoils at cusps. Rev, reads ?X?LT?BITVR (mullet) IN (annulet) GLORI?, lis at centre of cross in tressure of eight arcs, lions and lis in arcs, 1.72g (S.1810; N.1420; cf. Schneider 295?97). Lustrous gold tone with a fully centred strike, none of the usual flan chips or edge issues. Excellent detail both sides in the central shield and reverse cross, legends equally legible and definitive, some die breaks. Much as struck.
