Rev, oval garnished shield, with C and R either side, reads CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO, pellet stops 14.68g (S.2769; N.2205; Brooker 299?302). Some metal annealing striations in flan common in the Group II series, otherwise bold fine for type with a fully centred strike.
