Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms of the Protectorate, date above, reads PAX QVÆRITVR BELLO, edge inscription as +.HAS NISI PERITVRVS MIHI ADIMAT NEMO (S.3227A; N.2746; Bull.252; ESC.447). Toned, lustrous mint brilliance and bloom both sides complimented by mirrored fields. Some light surface markings in front of nose, possibly once rubbed, otherwise much as struck.
