William III (1694?1702), Sixpence 1696, first bust right legend surrounds GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. Rev, early harp, large crowns, plain fields, reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX, (S.3520; Bull.1202; ESC.1533). Darkly toned with an underlying mint bloom, portrait comprehensive with all the main lines of the Kings hair visible, few die breaks and the faintest of haymarking concealed by the tone. The reverse equally well struck, about extremely fine, a pleasing example.
