Rev, crowned shield with crest over quartered shield of arms, incorporating the Arms of Hanover, garter banner below, DIEU ET MON DROIT, legend surrounding, BRITANNIARUM REX FID DEF (S.3809; Bull.2371; ESC.642). Mottled tone with an excellent portrait and depth to the King's hair, few minor surface markings, much of the mint brilliance visible in the outer regions of coin. Rev, prooflike, crisp and as struck, some toning milk spots. Uncirculated, with an exceptional reverse.
